A week in review: Wow we made it through week two but barely! Thank you God for Friday! This week was tough even though it was a short week due to Labor day.
This week in my life:
I spent the better part of the week ill. Not man I’m not feeling well ill but I can’t move or I’m gonna puke ill! Which as you all well know makes it very difficult to homeschool. I’m feeling better now and trying to get things back to normal around here. We had a great weather week though. We were able to shut off the a/c and open up the windows until they started spreading fertilizer in the fields around our house. But it was good while it lasted!
Monday we celebrated labor day and had a family camp out in our yard. We had a great time. The girls loved playing night hide and seek, then settling down by the fire with smores! Most of us made it through the night sleeping in the tent, but the baby proved she is not quite ready for camping so she and I moved inside in the middle of the night.
In our homeschooling this week:
We had a short week planned due to the holiday and it ended up being short due to my illness. However, we have managed to catch back up and are right on schedule. The girls are doing a great job. I am so impressed with how well they are doing especially in Bible memory. Last week they memorized the entire Lord’s Prayer in three days and this week they memorized John 14:14 in one day.
What I have been reading this week:
Still trucking along on the Bible in 90 days journey. I have also started Wisdom of the Word bible study of Hebrews 11 the faith chapter. I am excited to see how God is going to speak to me through this years WOW.
Things I am Thankful for:
I am thankful for my family helping out while I was MIA and my parents and husband for watching the girls and letting me rest.
I am enjoying this blog link up. It is so nice to read the things that are going on in your lives. It helps to be connected to others like myself. Homeschooling can sometimes become lonely and it is so nice to hear from all of you. I am praying for you all and have a great next week!
