Kings’ daughters are among your honorable women.
I (and all women) am a honorable, thriving, preciously fashioned, loved-beyond-measure daughter of the King!
“God is not afraid of the messes that surround you. Maybe you feel unloved. You could have been abandoned, mistreated, abused. Maybe you still are. Perhaps no one in the world has extended a hand of compassion toward you. Doesn’t matter… God always comes to the rescue. He steps into the middle of your mess, grabs your hand, causes you to grow, to flourish… to change. He has made an unbreakable covenant with you by calling you his own.”
Ok…this might seem weird, but do it anyway. Find a crown, any crown…Burger King, plastic costume or full on rhinestone…and put it on your head. Just for a few moments, get a look at how God truly sees you (don’t forget to take it off before you go to work!).
Lord, help me embrace my inner princess. Help me to see myself as you do without all my self-doubt and insecurities. Help me to see your love for me and allow you to use your grace to wash me clean. Thank you for sending Jesus to us so that we may experience your redemption. Amen
