#Homeschool Weekly Wrap-Up

In my life this week….

It’s been a pretty good week here at the Hoggatt house. Things have gone pretty smoothly and quickly. I was able to attend ladies coffee on Thursday which always lifts my spirits! It’s a group of woman from my church that gets together every Thursday and let their kids play and chat! This time with other moms always encourages me. I also finished my WOW study on 1-3 John and Jude. Next we are starting James. My husband and I have made a new packed that our phones go off at a certain time in the evenings and that has helped us both stay more engaged in each other and our family! Loving it!!!!!!! Not much else happening around here.

In Our homeschool this week….

Normal lessons, not much extra exciting stuff. The two older girls have started practicing a song to sing at church on the 29th. Super excited about that! We have decided to switch from ABeka to Horizons in the fall so I’m preparing for that change. I created a skills checklist to make sure that the transitions will go smoothly. I just need to find a way to sell the ABeka teacher materials to help cover the cost of the switch. All together I Horizons will be financially more do-able though.

A Question….

How do you all deal with used curriculum? Do you sell it, store it, donate it, etc…??? If so how and where?

A video to share…

A homeschool mentor and friend of mine shared this video this week with me. My husband and I laughed so hard! It’s called:  7 lies about homeschoolers.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you all have a very blessed week!!!! Emmalee
