Recipe of the Week: Homemade Lotion!

Ok I know this isn’t a food!!!! But this is a crazy week! You would think that I would have the kitchen up and going since all our “school year” extra activities have come to an end and I now have every night “free” except Mondays. But, somehow they all filled up immediately and I feel even busier then ever. We also added to extra farm animal mouths to feed and they are taking a lot of attention currently.
The older girls are going on vacation with my folks this week and hubby will be gone a few times in the evenings this week also. Leaving just me and baby! So kitchen closed!

Many of you know that I have some health issues and one of them is psoriasis. After many trips to the dermatologist they found a treatment that works for me but it is so expensive that it makes it impossible to get. This lotion is the only one that I have found that will help relieve some of the discomfort. I also have started using “Living Clay”. Between the two of them I am trusting and having faith that God can and will heal me and that he may choose to use these as that healing. The lotion recipe follows and here is the website for info on the clay: http://www.livingclayco.com/

Lotion Ingredients:
16 oz. baby lotion
8 oz. Vaseline
8 oz. Vitamin E Cream
Mix all ingredients well and place into containers!
