In Our Homeschool This Week…
Again nothing much! I promise myself that by next week we will have some sort of summer school routine. But for now we are just relaxing and going with the flow. The girls are loving summer. they wake up every morning asking if we are doing school and I reply no and they jump up and down. I’m not sure if that is good or bad. haha
We did have some outdoor extra fun this week. Here is one of the activities we did. Good Ol’ Messy Fun

In Our Lives This Week…
It was dance recital weekend so we started our week off in crazy mode. But they both did a great job!

You can see videos of their rehearsal on my YouTube Channel here: http://www.youtube.com/user/ehoggatt4486?feature=guide
We celebrated their dancing accomplishments and pre-k/k graduations with a family reception following. We had a great time and good cake!
It was also another week of ball games. Both of the older girls had two games this week. So we spent Monday & Wednesday at the ball fields. This will pretty much be the routine for the next few weeks!
Audrey up to bat!

Alyssa Playing Blast Ball!

Daddy helping to coach!

Baby Ashlee is being a trooper
even though it’s hot and she is bored!

We also had family pictures this week! We went down to my parents house and traipsed through the hay field before it was cut for the year. I wanted some “country” family pictures and they turned out great! I also wanted to have them taken somewhere that I spent many hours as a child. So some have our old barn as the background. My sister in-law is a photographer and does a fantastic job. Even with a cranky baby she managed to get some good shots.

I hope you all had a good week and I look forward to reading your wrap-ups. Have a blessed upcoming week!

  1. Looks like such a fun week! Just love the photos of your daughters dancing and your family portraits are absolutely gorgeous! Your sil did a wonderful job.

Thanks for the heads up about the bird food. I will definitely look for it next time we’re at the store. My kids are really loving being able to look for and find so many different birds every day.

Hope you have a great weekend!
    Many blessings, Lisa 🙂

  2. Oh, I think a little break is good for the soul. And mind. Mine are actually getting a little antsy to get back into some light school, and when it’s a zillion degrees here in the summer (& you can only stay at the pool so long), we might as well do some school!

Love the colors you chose in your family photos!
