I have already shared our recipe for “Salt Dough Ornaments”, but here is another of my favorite homemade Christmas ornaments.
Cinnamon Apple Christmas Ornaments…
1 cup apple sauce + 1 cup cinnamon. Mix well and roll out to 1/4 inch thick. I covered my counter tops with wax paper for quicker clean up and to avoid staining. Cut into desired shapes and poke holes in top for ribbon. Bake @ 200 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs – 2 hours. Or until dry.
Cool and decorate to your hearts desire! We used white chalk on some of ours to resemble frosting!
The smell of them baking will make you crave apple cider so make sure you have some on hand! I lucked out and happened to have one more apple cider k-cup! haha
