Give Cash in Style This Christmas!

We all have those people who are hard to buy for so we are left with the options of gift cards or cash. Most of the time we choose gift card because it seems more thought out and personal.  Or those who are getting something really cool for Christmas, the day after you get to give your gift, and will want some extra spending money to get accessories.
Well here is the answer to the giving cash woe. Give cash in style! I research and found many fun ways to give cash and decided to compile them all in one place.
The “quarter” pounder…
Ok I don’t know if McDonald’s even has this sandwich anymore. But when I was a kid we used to have a fun family gift exchange. One year my dad got super creative and created the “quarter” pounder. He went to McDonald’s and ordered just the bun and wrapper from this sandwich. Then he went home and hot glued quarters together in the shape of a patty. Next he added paper bills for the lettuce and sandwiched them between the buns. Finally he neatly wrapped it all up in the printed wrapper. We all thought it was a sandwich until it was opened to reveal the cash!
Box Of Chocolates…
Saw this Idea and thought it would be super cute to do. Get a box of chocolates and the eat all the chocolate! haha Next fill the spaces with different kinds of currency. I used gold dollars, fives, ones, $2 bills and quarters.

Rubber-band Bow…
This would be a fun way to wrap any gift for that ornery someone in the family! I fond a box and put the money in, wrapped it, and let the fun begin. Start with a few rubber-bands one direction the change to the other. Alternate back and worth a few times until you are satisfied that the frustration level will be equal to the gift inside. haha

Frozen Dough…
Very easy and needs very little supplies. Just wrap $ in a sealing plastic storage bag, place bag in water tight container, fill with water and freeze!

Cash and Candy…
Bundle candy bars together and wrap with cash like this photo from Simply J Studio.

Holiday Dough…
Saw this idea on Pintrest and thought it was to cute not to share! It comes from Heart and Soul Scrappers. Type the provided poem, insert ginger bread man graphic, roll $ and tie.
I hope these ideas help you give a thought out and meaningful gift, even if it is just cash!
How do you get creative when giving cash? Post your fun ideas in the comments!
