1 5-6 lb. Pork Shoulder Roast ( usually do a double batch…It freezes well)
Favorite Rub Spices (see mine below)
2 cans cola
1 head of garlic
Rub pork with spices. Place in a large roasting pan. Rough slice onion and place into pan with peeled garlic cloves. Poor Cola over and around roast. Bake in a 300 degree oven for 5-6 hrs or until meat is fork tender and falling off the bone.
Remove from liquid and shred. Return shredded meat to strained cooking liquid until ready to serve. Serve with favorite sauce and bun or by itself!
1 c. brown sugar
1 t. of paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt & black pepper
1/2 t. celery salt. cyenne pepper & dry mustard
dash of liquid smoke
dash of worcestershire sauce
