Super Star Week!

In Our Homeschool This Week…
We had a tougher week this week. I haven’t felt well and the girls have struggled a bit with doing their work. But we did have some fun!
We finished up the star portion of our space science study. The girls made Constellation Projectors, did a report on their favorite constellation and made a glow in the dark star map. The little one even made a star map and we read “Five Wishing Stars.” We finished it all up with an out of this world Space Lunch for Friday Fun Food day!

We flipped our classroom to fall decor and made fall themed place mats.

Last week I shared that Hubby was doing a 9-11 tribute fireworks show at a local race track. The girls loved watching the races and the fireworks of course! Here are some snap shots of that.

Not much else to report… Thanks for swinging by!!!

  1. Fun space projects. I will have to remember them for next semester. We are itching to switch to fall decorations, but the 100 degree weather *just* let up here. It hasn’t felt very fall like yet.

I hope you feel better and next week is easier

  2. Wow! I am so impressed with your creativity! And that is a not-so-good week? I think it was an amazing week! 🙂 I love the idea of the constellation projector! How did you do it? The placemats are adorable, too. You inspire me! Have a wonderful weekend, friend. 🙂

    • Thanks Lisa. I think we may have gotten more accomplished then I realized but everything gets skewed when mama doesn’t feel good. If you click on the projector link you’ll find the how to. It was super simple once I found the constellation printable. Thanks for stopping by! I.love visiting your blig and taking part in your link ups!

  3. Love the lunch! Sometimes I do Bentos, but I kinda got out of the practice of it since we’re not on the road as much over lunch or dinner times. They can be a neat way to celebrate a special study!
