Water Color Coffee Filter Fall Leaves

I’m all about multi-purpose/aged crafts! Today we made fall leaves using watercolors and coffee filters. We are using them to decorate our classroom window. I used dry erase marker to draw the tree trunk and then cut the finished coffee filters into leaf shapes. We are also using them to create fall leaves on a tree print out. Earlier this week we made cute scarecrows with our pictures as the faces. Find out how here
What you need:
Coffee filters
Water colors
Blank Tree Print-out (I just google image searched for one) or… dry erase markers for the window option
Have children paint coffee filters. Allow to dry. Then either cut into leaf shapes or have them tear into small pieces. Tape onto window for that option or glue onto the blank tree print out.
