Chocolate Dipped Marshmallows…Halloween style!

Ok it is finally Halloween! That means that today we completed our final reverse trick-or-treat goodies. If you don’t know what reverse trick-or-treating is…It is what us country folks do to celebrate this sugar giving holiday. You see, when you live in the boon docks you don’t get to many trick-or-treaters. Like none EVER!!!! So when I was little my mom started helping me make goodies and we would bring them with us when we went door to door, passing them out to friends and family.

Yesterday the girls made a big batch of monster cookies and decorated the bags that we sacked them up in. Here is that recipe.

Today they made chocolate dipped marshmallows…Halloween style!

1 bag large marshmallows
Sucker sticks or wooden screws
2 bags of Wilton Candy Melts
Sprinkles – optional
Melt candy melts according to pkg directions. Dip end of sticks in melted chocolate and insert into center of the marshmallow. Let set about 5-10 minutes.

Start dipping marshmallows in melted chocolate then roll in sprinkles if desired. Set on aluminum foil lined surface. Let set for 15-20 minutes before bagging.
