Egg Carton Bat Craft

We have been reading several fall/Halloween books as we gear up for the upcoming holiday. Today we read “There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Bat” by Lucille Colandro.

To round out or day we created this cute bat out of egg cartons.
It is simple…Here’s how!
Divide egg carton into sections of three bumps each. (one dozen carton yields 4 bats).
Cut outside bumps to look like wings.
Poke hole in the top of the middle bump to thread through string later.
Paint!
When dry add string for hanging and googley eyes.
