It is beginning to have a chill in the air here in Kansas. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year and as the air gets crisp I begin to crave warm cider. Today I am sharing one of my favorite recipes with you. My mother used to make this around the holidays and I carry on that tradition. In fact I make it alot more and store some in the fridge to warm up as I desire.
1 – 64oz. container of unsweetened cranberry juice
1 – 64oz. container of pineapple juice
4 c. water
3/4 c. brown sugar
pinch of salt
4 cinnamon sticks
3 t. whole cloves
Mix all in large pot. Simmer for at least one hour. Strain and serve warm. Store leftovers in fridge.
