We have had a more relaxed week! Still our crazy ball schedule but we did get an extra night off. Only two more weeks of ball! (I think I can…I think I can…I think I can!)
In our “spare” time we have begun to prepare for the week of the 4th of July. We do it BIG here!
My husband has two scripted fireworks show scheduled for next week. We are also hosting a get together the 3rd, although it won’t be a big as we usually go.
In preparation the garage has gotten a good cleaning, the barns all cleaned out, and my Daddy came down and mowed the pasture.
Next week I’ll share a glimpse of our celebration!

This has been an exciting week to say the least!
We spent last weekend at the final Bible quiz of the season. The girls did wonderful and both received the silver award. We have completed the study of Exodus! Next year we will dig into Joshua, Judges, and Ruth.
Monday was an interesting ball game night. Just as the first pitch was thrown it began to rain. The team loved it! They proved how tough coach pitch girls are (There’s no crying in baseball! haha) and were upset when the game got called due to lightening.
We were rewarded by a beautiful rainbow and pretty pink sunset on the prairie!
We have also had lots of excitement on the homestead but you’ll have to read about that here!!!!!!! A Rewarding Week On The Homestead
